|
If you’re still drinking diet soda or coffee, reduce the frequency or stop altogether. Replace your morning coffee with herbal tea or water. Iced herbal tea is a great substitute for soda. If pure water is too plain, add a squeeze of organic lemon or orange for a subtle flavor and fragrance.
Prepare more meals at home, rather than eating fast food and take-out meals. When you eat out, your unsure of the quality of ingredients. Many restaurants use trans-fats, although media has pressured a number of fast-food chains to use a healthier form of fat. Regardless, you want to keep saturated fats, sodium, white flour and sugar to a minimum and the best way to do that is to prepare the food yourself.
This doesn’t mean that you can never eat out—just make restaurant dining a special occasion.
By reducing the number of potential impurities that get into your body, like caffeine and chemical sweeteners, your body won’t have to eliminate as many impurities.
Keep up the good work
If you’ve been following the system and adopting a healthier habit and exercise routine, it’s getting easier because your body is adjusting to new, healthier habits.
When your first Cleanse Day arrives in a few days, it will be so much easier because you’ve been preparing well. Have a terrific day and we’ll be back with you tomorrow.
