Welcome to your first Shake day!
|
Today you’ll drink one IsaLean® Shakes and eat two 400 - 600 calorie meals. You can have up to two healthy snacks each day (check your System Guide for suggestions). Drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of purified water throughout the day.
Weigh yourself and take measurements today if you’d like to track your progress. Even if you don’t want to lose weight, you may notice a leaner appearance as you continue the system.
If you’re unsure of how to take measurements, click the links below for instructions. Record your numbers on your System Guide or in a journal; then put away your scale and tape measure for a week.
A journal is an excellent way to track your experience with this system, what worked and what didn’t. You may also want to take a photo at the beginning and compare it to a picture of yourself after the system is completed.
Moderate exercise (20 – 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise) is recommended.
Early morning
We suggest that you drink your first shake shortly after you awaken in the morning. It’s fine to add one-quarter cup of fresh or frozen berries to your shake, but be cautious not to add too many calories.
Blend your shake for 10 – 15 seconds with purified water. Blend in ice if desired. There are active enzymes in your shake to help with digestive health and nutrient absorption. Drink your shake within 10 minutes of mixing.
Drink one ounce of Ionix® Supreme, or blend it in your shake. Take three capsules of Antioxidants and a serving of Essentials for Men™ or Women each day. If you have a sensitive stomach, take the Antioxidants and Essentials with your meal.
Mid-morning
If you’re hungry, have an organic apple, one or two pieces of IsaDelight™ or 5 – 6 unsalted almonds, (your System Guide has more suggestions.)
Lunch
We suggest that you have your heaviest meal at lunch. Eat 4 - 6 ounces of lean protein, one serving of whole grains and as many raw or steamed vegetables as you want. Skip the full-fat dressings, fatty sauces or butter—try fresh-squeezed lemon instead. Consult your System Guide for healthy meal suggestions. For convenience, consider planning your menu of healthy meals for the week.
Take your Essentials for Men™ or Women and Antioxidants with your meal.
Mid-afternoon
If you’re hungry, have a piece of fruit, a few stalks of celery or unsalted almonds.
Dinner
Eat approximately four ounces of lean protein, a partial serving of whole grains and raw or steamed vegetables. If you’re trying to lose a few pounds, consider drinking a shake for dinner instead of eating a meal.
